Can We Fly Now?

Kolby was so high up that he barely heard the professor. He shrugged and landed with his class. It was was getting chilly up there anyways. He glanced around to see some boys glaring at him. It's seems I've made some enemies.he thought while listening to the professor. He clapped when she said that they can practice over the holidays and that they would finally learn some techniques. Kolby put his broom up then went to the changing room. He was very tired.

Nadia stumbled with the bulky Quaffle, struggling to fly while carrying the heavy ball. Not wishing to exchange pleasantries, or more likely insults in her case, with anyone, Nadia attempted to get the Quaffle in the hoop. It wasn't a pretty site. Flustered, she glared at the snickering Hufflepuffs beside her. They quickly flew off, frightened, and rightly so.

Luckily her father thought Quidditch was only for men, so she didn't have to worry about trying out next year. Nadia huffed at her classmates' excitement, flying was not her forte. Putting away her Quaffle and broom, Nadia hurried to the changing room. Exercise was not a good look for her. Not that she sweated, no she merely glowed, as all refined girls did.

Mitri grinned, they were finally getting somewhere! Quidditch sounded lovely, she couldn't wait to try out next year. Seeing that most of her friends had already partnered together, Mitri began to practice scoring with a Quaffle on her own. She wasn't half bad, surprising given her clumsiness on land!

Mitri gave a cheer at the Professor's announcement. More flying! Mitri figured this might be her favorite thing about magic so far. Seeing Arya's fancy flying, Mitri wondered if she should ask the girl for pointers later. Putting away her things, Mitri went to change quickly, her belly was singing for its lunch!
