| Edwin helped Kolby up and helped him wobble over to Alys. Arya whispered in his ear and then walked away. Kolby sighed. She was probably right. They needed someone to keep an eye on Davy.
"Edwin, can you go find Marigold?" Alys asked. Edwin nodded and went to find the junior healer. Millicent was no where to be seen. Kolby looked around, a bit in shock that members of his house did this. He saw Slytherins not involved hang their head in shame as the dance continued. Kolby sighed.
"I can't find her Alys. Asher said she went outside for air, saying she was upset about something," Edwin said. Alys sighed and shook her head as students were being brought up to her.
"You're good Kolby. Enjoy the dance," she said, sending him away. Elsa was gone, probably to find friends. Kolby looked around for Tari but no doubt that she wouldn't want to talk to him after what the Ministry did. So, he found Mick and Devan and sat with them.
"We have to do something. The well being of the student body relies on us," Devan said. Kolby sighed and went to Davy.
"That was amazing! I want back in!" Kolby said excitedly. Davy smiled wickedly.
"I knew you'd be back Parry," he said, shaking his hand. Kolby nodded and smiled, shaking it back. He was now a double agent.

| After the conflicts which neither Christiare or Hugh were able to comprehend, Hugh vanished from Tari's aid to investigate the gowns of some girls by the buffet, leaving Tari to wander through the hall, in hopes of finding Kolby again, or perhaps making a new friend. Striding across the floor, she could only take in how much good had occured to her within the past few days. She had been adopted by Vici, Hugh had given her new clothes, Kolby had danced with her, and so valiently placed her out of harms way when the mischeif began. Personally, she didn't care what trouble he caused, there was an air about him. Not the snooty, stuck up, poisionsous kind around most slytherin most rich folk. No, this was a friendly, calming air with heartwarming mischief and heartmelting passions. Then, Tari noticed him speaking with the Ministry, and looking happy about it. It occured to her now, that perhaps he had been the one behind the earlier tortures done to her at the begining of that year, and ballling her fist, Tari strode into the crowd before locating a slightly familar face, Mira Catrain, she didn't recall the lass being extremley sociable, but, nor was Tari, and thus, a spark was ignited.
"Good evening, Mira right? I'm Ch- Tari began to say her birth name, but it didn't have the same feel to it anymore as it traced her tongue, as if it didn't belong to her. Christiare mean servant of Christ, something her parents had hoped she would become as to combat the 'sin' of her life. But she wasn't a Le Clerc anymore. She was a Vici now, a whole new person.
"-Tari, Tari Vici. Enjoying the party?" She offered Mira her hand to shake, gladly claiming this new name.

| Mira and Finn danced around the hall to two quick songs in a row. When she finally sat down, she was completely out of breath. She gulped down a mug of water and sat back in her seat.
“My goodness, that’s some nasty water,” she muttered, making a mental note to brush up on the water-making spell. “Oh, hello!”
She hadn’t even heard the girl sneak up on her. Isn’t her name Christiare Le Clerc? she thought curiously, as the Gryffindor introduced herself. Then she remembered Tari explaining at the table earlier that she’d been adopted by Professor Vici.
“I am enjoying it, though after that Slytherin group’s stunt, this all seems quite demure,” she laughed, gesturing for Tari to take a seat. “So Vici’s adopted you? I won’t ask why. Unless, of course, you want to tell me; then I’ll listen. But I’ve found that sometimes it’s best not to ask people about their personal issues and just let them come to you. Sorry, I don’t usually talk this much. Actually, I do…”
Mira took a deep breath and let Tari take that all in. Elsa slid into the seat next to her and butted in.
“Mira, you’re good friends with Finnius Ruddock, right?” she asked eagerly. “Do you think you could introduce us properly?”
“Ugh, Elsa,” she rolled her eyes with a sigh. She loved the girl, but she was a bit too boy crazy. For far older boys. “Anyway, Tari, what were you saying?”

| “I can’t believe this,” Symon was saying. “I can’t believe that bloody prick wasn’t caught.”
He was absolutely fuming. Adele looked around the room; Davy was laughing with his cronies, probably about the stunt he’d just gotten away with. She wondered who the other two boys were that had gotten away. There was no way to know.
“Symon, there’s nothing you can do now,” she said seriously, trying to calm him down. “What sort of group are they in? It can’t be just a random selection of students.”
“You don’t need to know,” he snapped, walking away.
“Well then,” she muttered, rolling her eyes.
Adele wandered around for a moment, figuring she should find Marigold. They hadn’t really gotten a chance to talk about everything before the fight broke out. Finally, she spotted the girl in the entrance hall.
“Look, Marigold, I know you must be really freaked out,” she started, sitting on the steps. “I don’t know how to say this… I think you have two options: either you forget this happened, or you confront Davy about it. Clearly he got some important information out of you if he was willing to go to such drastic lengths. We have to know what he knows.”

| Arya sat at the table alone, thinking. Gavin was indisposed at the moment, getting his arm fixed by Healer Alys. Everyone else was off dancing. She noticed Symon glowering in a corner while his friends all talked and laughed. Wonder what that’s about, she thought.
“Good evening, Arya,” she heard an old familiar voice say sullenly.
“Baron! How are you?”
“Oh, miserable as usual,” he nodded, his ghostly deep voice rumbling. “Young Kolby Parry is a double agent now, just as you wanted.”
She almost asked how he knew, before she remembered he was a ghost and spent most of his time invisible, spying among the students.
“So what can you tell me about the incident,” she asked eagerly. “Was it the Ministry?”
“I’m afraid I must go, or it may look like we are actually friends,” the Bloody Baron sighed again, rather dramatically, before disappearing. Arya immediately got up and walked over to the buffet table where Kolby stood.
“We’re dancing,” she told him, pulling him onto the dance floor. “So, how’d it go?”

| Marigold was sitting in the Entrance Hall when Adele came in. Marigold sighed. She didn't see what happened during the fight.
Marigold ran out of the Great Hall, upset about her memory and about leaving early and everything. She ran into Davy, who was watching his plan unfold.
"You," Marigold growled, pulling out her wand. Davy shot her a cheeky grin.
"Me. Hello, little Raven," he said, taking a step closer to her.
"Why did you take my memory?" she asked, preparing to shoot him with a Severing Charm. He took two more steps forward and put his hands in his pockets. He was maybe a foot away from her.
"Nothing to important. Just information," he stated, shuffling. Marigold was confused. It was obvious that she wasn't a threat. Why was he acting so strange?
"What information?" she pressed. He chuckled and shook his head. She pressed her wand closer at him and he laughed. He swatted her wand out of her hand and brought her close to him. She squirmed in his grasp as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
"You honesty think you can scare me, little Raven?" he asked. She kicked at him and he whispered something in her ear. She took a step back and he disappeared into the Great Hall. Marigold sat aganist the wall, shocked at what he said.
Marigold was still in the Entrance Hall when Adele found her. She was trying to process what Davy told her.
"Yeah. I agree," she said, looking sadly at Adele. Could Marigold tell Adele what Davy told her?
"I'll talk to him with Jacob as back up. Go enjoy the dance. I think Symon may be looking for you," she murmered, smiling at her friend. She then stared at the ground, repeating what Davy just said. Symon's as good as dead with the information you gave me. her brain repeated.

| "He's still high off his 'victory' with this prank. He accepted me with open arms," Kolby reported as him and Arya danced.
"It's crazy what he's planning for next year. Boggarts, smoke bombs, blackmail, tortue, everything," Kolby whispered, spinning her around. Elsa came running up to them.
"Hey. We're gonna do a Carol Dance to get the life back in the feast," she said, pulling them towards a group of first years. It was basically the Templar group with a few random people thrown in.
"I'll sit out on this one, Elsa. Thanks though," he said. He pulled Arya aside.
"Tell Tari about all this. I have a feeling she doesn't like me so much anymore," he told her, as he went back to the Ministry table.
"Hey, Parry. Do you have any ideas for next year?" a 4th year asked him. Kolby smiled and activated his mischievous side. Of course he had ideas.

| “Actually, Symon is in a mood,” Adele explained obliviously. “He’s sulking in a corner somewhere.”
She sat there for another moment before taking the hint that Marigold clearly wanted to be left alone. It brought to mind Jacob, and what he would feel if he knew what Symon had done. The spell coming from one of his best friends would make it a hundred times worse.
“Well, I guess I’ll get going, then,” she smiled, heading down the stairs. “Marigold, are you sure you don’t want to join us? You’re leaving in a couple hours, remember…”
Adelaine turned and walked into the Great Hall, leaving her friend to think about things. Have I ever had a memory taken away? she thought anxiously. How would I ever know if I had? Oh good heavens, my whole life could be a lie! So many things could be hidden from me! Luckily, Seamus came to her rescue in that moment, snapping her out of her thoughts before she lost her mind.
“Carole dance, c’mon!” he shouted, pulling her into the circle.
She joined hands with Seamus and Edwin, and the whole group moved clockwise, dancing and skipping to a happy beat.

| Arya nodded to Kolby, and looked around for Tari. She was at a table talking with Mira. Before Arry could go over, however, someone grabbed her and pulled her into the bloody Carole circle.
“This is fun, right?!” Gavin shouted over the music.
“A blast,” she yelled back sarcastically.
The music was faster and faster, and Arya rolled her eyes as she was dragged around, clinging to Gavin and Elsa. She wouldn’t be surprised if her arm was yanked out of its socket.
“Oh my!”
“What is it?” Gavin asked, out of breath.
“Gotta go,” she replied, breaking out of the circle.
Arya ran over to Kolby and sat down, catching her breath. Bloody hell, that’s a workout, she thought grimly. She shooed away the Slytherins that had gathered, pleased when they all quickly backed away. She didn’t realize it was because the Bloody Baron had appeared behind her.
“Kolby, I’ve just thought of the perfect name,” she began. “For your double agency. Operation Kobra!”

| Marigold sat in the Entrance Hall, lost in thought when white boots appeared in her line of vision. She looked up to see Asher standing there with her cup.
"Do you want to dance?" he asked. Marigold shook her head as she stood up and took the cup from him. "Well, let's walk and talk then," he said, offering her his arm. Marigold took it and they walked to the courtyard. A slow song was playing in the courtyard and couples were talking and dancing around the edge. Marigold and Asher sat on the fountain in the middle. The fountain was working but there was a charm on it where it didn't splash and get people wet.
"What do you want to talk about?" Marigold asked, sipping her Butterbeer.
"Mostly about this summer. Are you coming home at all?" he asked. Marigold thought about it.
"Well, I might for the last week in July. I have to buy supplies for next year," she informed. Asher looked disappointed. "Is something wrong?" she asked.
"It seems like everyone is doing something amazing and I'm just staying home, working and taking care of my family. I just feel left out. It would just be nice if I had someone to talk to or something to do," he said honesty. Marigold was surprised at his bluntness. He's normally a bit more vague when he talks to her. She enjoyed his honesty though. She thought about a solution.
"I got it! You should come spend a week in Germany with me." she offered. Couple glared at her sudden outburst then went back to their conversations.
"What? Marigold, I can't. I have brothers to take care of and a farm to help run. I can't leave for a week on a vacation," he explained. Marigold thought about it.
"Alright. Well, then, I'm going to find a way to get you to the tourney in York in July," she said, standing up.
"Marigold..." he said.
"No buts. No excuses. You're going and I'm gonna get you there and it's gonna be super fun," she said, determined to keep her promise. Asher just shook his head and smiled at her. He took her hand and they began to dance in the courtyard.
"Anything else?" Marigold asked. He put a finger to her lips and gently shushed her. Marigold blushed.
"Let's dance," he said.

| Symon showed Adelaine a secret doorway that led out to the bridge on the other side of the Great Hall. She’d never used it before; it overlooked the lake and the boat house.
“I’m sorry I snapped,” he said with a sigh. “I just..you know I can’t stand Davy, and seeing him get away with something like that..You know he’s coming back next year after all? I was hoping he’d be shipped off to war or something.”
“Even Davy doesn’t deserve that,” Adele muttered. “He’s not evil.”
“You’re still new, you don’t know him like we do,” he told her earnestly, then paused. “Wait right here,” he said, jogging back inside for some drinks.
As Adelaine looked over the side of the massive bridge, she felt more peaceful than she had all year. The sky was clear and starry, and the lake was black as night, reflecting the moon and sloshing quietly on the bank.
“Well, if it isn’t the Winged Serpent herself,” she heard the voice she’d been dreading.
“What do you want?” she asked venomously as he stood next to her.
“Just to let you know I had a chat with your little Raven friend,” he smiled slyly. “The fun thing is that none of you will ever know what I learned from her. She’s quite the talker once you break her out of her shell.”
“It doesn’t matter what she told you, we aren’t hiding anything,” Adele grimaced. “Why can’t you just grow up and act your age? Why do you need to constantly make everyone miserable?”
“Petrifitus totalus,” he quickly incanted. Davy was evil after all; right after she froze up, he lightly pushed her…and Adele fell over the side of the bridge and down to the lake.

| Professor Harcourt was patrolling the Grounds around the Great Hall. He already had to send a few couples back inside. He wasn't expecting someone to jump off the bridge. He was a few feet from the bridge when saw something falling. Falling fast. He sprinted to the edge of the Lake and pointed his wand at the object.
"Arresto Momentum!" he called out, focusing hard of the target. He couldn't help thinking that it looked like a girl. The spell worked and she gently landed in the water. Now, for the hard part. He looked at the Lake and quickly thought of a plan.
"Glacius," he said, pointing his wand at the water. It started to freeze over, keeping the girl from all the way sinking in the water. She was trapped between the ice. Harcourt tested the ice and, seeing that it was stable, ran over to her.
"Adelaine Beaumont!" he exclaimed in surprise of seeing the first year. He also noticed that she was petrified. He quickly thought of something. Pointing his wand at her, he started his chant for the Feather-Light Charm.
"Light as a feather, stiff as a board. Light as a feather, stiff as a board. Light as a feather, stiff as a board," he chanted, a ball of white magic swirling around the tip of his wand. At the last chant, the ball of magic shot toward Adele and encased her whole body before sinking into her skin. Harcourt tugged on her arm and smiled. The charm had worked. She floated an inch off the ground and he was able to guide her across the ice to land.
"Adele!" Symon Fendrel called out, jogging up to the Professor. Harcourt laid her on her ground.
"Did you do this to her Symon?" he asked the 3rd year Slytherin as he checked Adele's pulse. He was normally a good kid, an excellent student (he excelled in Harcourt's class), but, after what happened in the Great Hall, all Slytherins were suspected, including the good ones.
"What? No sir. I didn't. I was getting a drink," Symon said, staring Harcourt in the eye. He didn't flinch or smile or look away or bust out laughing, so it was safe to presume that he wasn't lying.
"Well, I sure Adele will tell us what happened. Finite Incantatem," he casted. The ice around the Lake and the spell on Adele wore off.
"Are you alright?" Harcourt asked, sitting her up. Symon kneeled down beside her and looked like he wanted to reach out for her, maybe for a hug (he looked very relieved), but he restrained himself.
"Tell us what happened," Symon insisted.

| "Arya. Must you be so loud about this?" Kolby asked quietly. The girl just seemed to want to scream from the heavens that Kolby was a double agent. He had only been one for one night and she was already putting the whole thing in jeopardy. Kolby stared at the Bloody Baron behind her.
"What did you think of the prank, Baron? Pretty good, right?" Kolby asked his House Ghost. The Baron scoffed.
"A foolish prank, Parry. Five of our best 4th years got expelled. I am quite disappointed," the ghost reported.
"It's alright. They were being shipped off to war anyways," Kolby informed. The Baron gave him a shocked expression and left to see if Kolby was correct. Kolby stabbed his fork into his chicken and took a bite. A 2nd year Slytherin came slithering up to him.
"You'll never guess what Davy just did to Adele Beaumont," he started to report. Kolby shot Arya a glare meaning "Keep your mouth shut" and leaned towards the boy, getting interested. If he was concerned, he didn't show it.
"What did he do?" Kolby asked, sipping his Butterbeer, his palms sweaty and cold.
"He petrified her and threw her in the Lake!" the boy announced. Kolby laughed like it was the best joke he ever heard.
"That's amazing!" Kolby exclaimed, trying to hide his concern and worry for his classmate. The 2nd year nodded and went to spread the news. Kolby turned towards Arya.
"Go check on her," he whispered between his teeth as he strode off to other parts of the party. He bumped into Jacob.
"I can't believe you Kolby," Jacob said, taking him by the arm into the Entrance Hall.
"What? What did I do?" Kolby asked.
"Kolby, you joined the Ministry! Again!" he reminded, looking a bit hurt and sounding a bit angry. Kolby looked down at the ground. He forgot that only Arya and him knew about his double agency. Should I tell him? Jacob can keep a secret, right? He could even help me. But, if too many people find out, it'll get to Davy and then I'll really be dead. Kolby thought.
"I just want to know why, Kolby. I thought you were different from them. I thought you were one of us," Jacob said, referring to him, Symon, Osmond, and Devan, all the good Slytherins. Kolby sighed. He made his decision.
"Can you keep a secret?" Kolby said as they walked to a more secluded part of the school.

| Arya scoffed as Kolby reprimanded her like a child. Was he off his rocker? She wasn’t even loud, he must be paranoid. When the 2nd year Slytherin came over, it was the last straw. How dare he look at her like that? Like she was a misbehaving dog, likely to bark and bite when there’s company over. She glared at him and walked away, heading for the entrance hall.
“I’m sorry, the doors have been locked,” Professor Aldan told her, blocking her path.
“My friend’s been hurt,” she said forcefully. “I have to check on her!”
“Arya Lannister, do not raise your voice,” he chided with a huff. “No one gets in, and no one gets out. Not until the headmistress has gotten to the bottom of this.”
Arya groaned loudly and turned on her heel, stomping over to Gavin and Peyton.

| Adelaine moaned and rubbed the back of her head. It was aching like nobody’s business, and her joints were stiff. On top of all that, she was freezing cold and soaking wet. Symon and Harcourt leaned over her, while two others ran to them.
“Can you tell us who it was?” Symon was asking for the third time, anxious. “Do you remember anything?”
“It was Davy,” Adele said quickly. “Davy Bigot!”
Healer Alys shooed the three men to the side so she could check for injuries.
“Davy Bigot?” Professor Croney repeated. “And did anyone see it happen?”
“I’m afraid not,” Symon said, groaning. “Adele and I were the only ones on that bridge, no one else was there. I went inside for some drinks, and Davy must have snuck out. But you believe us, don’t you?”
“I’m afraid there’s nothing we can do without witnesses,” Croney admitted sadly.
“Professor, he tried to kill me!” Adele shouted, making Alys jump.

| Professor Harcourt didn't know what to think. Had Davy really done it? There was no way to tell and they didn't want to wrongly accuse anyone.
"We want to Adele but you have to realize that you're sounding ridiculous,"Professor Croney said.
"She's not sounding ridiculous at all! Davy is a first class troublemaker here and I believe that she's correct," Alys said, standing up for Adele and putting a blanket around her shoulders. Harcourt looked between Croney and Alys.
"Perhaps we should launch an investigation," Harcourt suggested.
"On the last day of school Harcourt? It's a bit unnecessary," Croney said.
"A student's life was threatened. It's not unnecessary. It's required. It's our duty as staff members to get to the bottom of this," Harcourt countered. Croney looked at the ground and Alys looked at anything but Adele and Harcourt.
"I understand it's the last day of the school year and we don't have much time. But, we have to at least try," Harcourt concluded, summoning parchment and a quill.
"Then, I'll leave you and the Headmistress to it, Harcourt," Croney said, leaving the scene.
"I would love to help but...." Alys started.
"I know Alys. You have to leave early. I can handle this," Harcourt said. Alys nodded, smiled at Adele, and went back to the Great Hall.
"Now, Adele, please tell me everything," Harcourt told her.

| Asher left Marigold by the fountain. Seamus had to talk to him about something. So, MArigold was alone. She sighed and looked at the sundial that hung in the courtyard. It was ten o clock. 2 hours left. she thought miserably. Was she excited to go to the Holy Roman Empire? Of course. But, was she going to miss her friends? Absolutely.
"Well, you look depressed. You're a hard girl to find," Jacob said, coming up to her. Marigold smiled.
"Are you okay?" he asked, sitting by her.
"I'm fine. I'm just not ready to leave yet," she admitted.
"This happens every year. At the beginning of the year, you want to be at home. Then, at the end of the year, you don't want to leave. It becomes your home. Everyone's a family," he explained the obvious, trying to make her rationalize that everyone goes through this and trying to make her feel better. Marigold laughed and pulled him into the Great Hall.
"What are you doing?" he asked as they jumped into a dance. Elsa laughed at them as they went around and around the circle and in between people and trading partners. By the end of the dance, Jacob and Marigold were tired and sat at a table.
"That was.....fun. What dance was that?" he asked.
"It's more of a peasant dance," she told him.
"Interesting. Wow, I'm out of breath," he said, putting his head down. Marigold patted his back and Asher came back.
"It's Adele and Symon," he simply said. He quickly explained the situation. Arya told Gavin, Gavin told Seamus, and Seamus told Peyton and Asher. The mood dropped again. Marigold became angry. Why couldn't Davy just leave them alone?

| Adele didn’t know where to start. From the beginning, of course, she told herself, though that was a lot to tell. But in order to make her case, Harcourt needed to know all the facts.
“Well, first of all,” she began, taking a deep breath. “Davy has been making us miserable all year. I think he’s in a cult of some sort, he’s behind every bit of mischief at Hogwarts.”
She considered telling him about the moment that she made it to the top of Davy’s list, but that was a duel and…Oh, Harcourt was there!
“Ever since I humiliated him in a duel, he’s had it out for me,” she went on. “He crashed a, uh, get-together we had and that’s when I got that gash in my side. He bullies everyone. He crashed our Tem—um, another get-together, and fought us again. And now this!”
With a sigh, she looked over to see if Harcourt had gotten that all down on parchment. Maybe it was enough to help. Symon had been so quiet she’d forgotten he was sitting there.
“I can vouch for all of that,” he said solemnly. “Davy’s a viper.”

| Mira took a long sip of butterbeer and looked around the hall. Everything seemed to be normal, but she noticed that the doors were closed now and staff members were on patrol inside and out. I wonder what that’s about, she thought curiously. Maybe they were just on watch for more mischief.
“Pardon me,” Edwin said, sneaking up behind her. “Don’t mean to interrupt. But would you like to dance?”
“I suppose I can spare a minute,” Mira blushed. “Sorry, Tari, we’ll talk later!”
Ed pulled her onto the dance floor. There was a small circle of carole dancers still going, but most people had broken off into pairs again. A lively tune was playing, one that sounded very regal if you asked Mira. Edwin led, and she was quite surprised at how good of a dancer he was.
“Are you going to the tourney in York?” Ed asked as they spun around.
“Gavin promised to sneak me onto one of the wagons,” she grinned. “Why?”
“Well, I found out this morning that I’ll be going too,” he said ecstatically. “There’s a group of very high-up merchants travelling with the royal family, and my father is one of them!”
“That’s fantastic!” Mira exclaimed.
They twirled past a group of Slytherins, most of whom glared at them. It made her replay the incident in her mind. She had her own hunch of who was really behind the window-crashers: Symon.

| Kolby sat by some other Slytherins from the Ministry, trying to blend in and trying to get some information. Unfortunately, no one was talking. An orb was being passed around to everyone. Kolby got the orb and touched the top of it.
"Harcourt. Cover for me," it whispered. Kolby passed the orb to other people and looked around the Great Hall. Adele and Symon were walking in with Alys and Harcourt. Harcourt was armed with a pad and paper. Kolby gulped and fixed his collar as Harcourt gestured for him to talk to him.
"Alright Kolby. I'm sure you've heard something about the incident. Have you seen Davy in the past fifteen minutes?" he asked. Kolby stayed silent for a moment, thinking. Can I really lie to a Professor for someone I don't even like? Kolby thought. But, he happened to glance behind Harcourt to see Davy twirling his wand in his hand, glaring at Kolby.
"I saw him in the courtyard, dancing with his betrothed," Kolby lied confindently.
"Are you sure Kolby?" Harcourt asked, looking at him, practically saying "The staff can protect you from him,". Kolby nodded and Harcourt walked away to question other Slytherins. Kolby breathed a sigh of relieve and looked at Davy. Davy nodded at him and Kolby sat down. Good Lord. This is harder than I thought, Kolby thought.

| Arya sat with the lads at their table, sipping an iced butterbeer. She watched the Slytherins, intrigued as Harcourt interrogated them. Arry was especially intrigued by Kolby. He looked anxious at first, but he passed the test. It must be hard for him, she thought, softening a bit. But it’s necessary. All this secretive spy stuff had her thinking about her future. Could she be a spy someday? How does one go about entering espionage guilds?
“I’m walking Adele to the abandoned history classroom to hang out for a while,” Symon said, walking over to them. “She’ll be fine, just wants to get away from everyone. Meaning Davy. But she said to tell Marigold to meet her before she leaves. Perhaps you could all say goodbye there?”
They nodded and the Slytherin walked away.
“Do you think they’ll catch Davy?” Asher asked.
“Nope,” Gavin said sullenly.
“Well, this is a memorable last night,” Arry mused, shoving down a lemon cake.
“Ye can’ say we don’ know how ta make a scene in our group,” Seamus laughed.
“How much longer till you leave, Marigold?” Peyton questioned, downing his cider.

Tari, once again left alone put on a neautral face and strode over to the punch table for another glass. What a night it had been. It seemed an extreme of almost every account occurred. Other than ones of course, which directly involved herself. It was in this pool of thought, that Hugh strode over to her, pouring himself a glass of punch, attempting to hide the black eye that was forming on his face.
"What in blazes happened to you!?" Tari gasped.
Hugh smirked. "Needless to say, seventh year ravenclaws don't take kindly to a boy asking what their dress size is.. Either way, care for a dance, Miss Vici? Afterall, what are friends for besides keeping eachother from getting bored."
Laughing Tari took his hand as they glided into the current dance. "I doubt I'd ever get bored with you around, I'm always either your human pincushion or your tutor."
Hugh smiled as they danced. "Not my fault I know more about thread than I do about writing."

| Drust Vici was quick to return to his post as the chaos was handled. Having sucessfully shown the mischeif makers out, he gave a collective sigh, watching the dance go on. His heart swelled with pride at the sight of Tari laughing. He still didn't know her full story, and didn't want to pry into hers, or the tales of many others of the students at Hogwarts, but his deepest desire, was to make them all smile as much as he could. As he watched her dance, reminded much of a pheonix reborn from the ashes, his eyes drifted to and landed upon a blond much closer to his age, whom he had often fancied from afar. Striding over to Professor Renior, he decided now may be as good a time as any to make an approach. Her house just won the cup, it's the last night of the school year, as well as of his first year of teaching. Thus, Professor Vici bowed slightly and offered Renior his hand as the music shifted, and with his usual smile and flair, he asked her- "Professor, may I be so obliged as to give you a congratulatory dance?" | |

| Marigold glanced around for Alys, who was sitting at the High Table, looking like a queen. Alys met her eyes and gestured for her to come here.
"Excuse me. My Lady calls," Marigold said to their group, pretending she was a Lady-in-Waiting for Alys. They laughed a little, but were still in a grim mood from the turn of events. Marigold bounced up to the High Table and Alys gestured to the chair beside her.
"Yes, My Lady?" Marigold jested, sitting beside her. She was actually sitting at the High Table. She stared at the fancy tableware in disbelief. Was she really sitting here?
"You only have an hour left," Alys started. Marigold sighed. She knew this wasn't just a social visit. "Do you have all your things packed?" she asked.
"Yes ma'am. They're sitting in the Hospital Wing, in your office, where you told me to put them," Marigold said, slumping her shoulders. Alys snapped her fingers and Marigold sat up straight, her hands in her lap.
"Good girl. Now, I have some new instructions for you for this summer. You're going to have to change your name, to fit in with the family. We don't want you to get hurt. So, pick a creative first name," Alys said, watching students. Marigold furrowed her brow.
"Change my name? Hurt? Is someone threatening the Cosin clan? Is it because your marrying Louis? Did your mother make someone mad? Is Robert okay? Is there a war in Germany?"Marigold questioned. Alys just nodded and shooed her away, a smile on her face. Marigold walked back to her group.
"I have about an hour left," she told them as she sat down. They nodded and Marigold sipped her cup, looking at Alys. Was she in danger?

| ((OOC: Madison, what is Harcourt’s name?))
Marguerite sat back and sipped her spiced wine, watching the room. Clearly something had gone wrong outside, because Harcourt was stalking around questioning students with a quill and parchment. Of course, Adelaine Beaumont and Symon Fendrel had come in sullenly and left just as quickly. My lord that group gets in a lot of trouble, she thought, shaking her head.
“Er, Renoir,” Professor Malkin nudged her. “I believe Drust just asked you a question.”
“What?” she snapped back to reality. “Oh, my. Oh. Did you ask me to dance?”
She was honestly a bit surprised. No one ever asked her to dance (she sort of liked it that way). Renoir sized Vici up, intrigued.
“I’m afraid I’ll have to say no, I can’t take my eyes off these children for one moment,” she said as politely as she could. “Perhaps another time?”
