Relaxing in the Dungeons

Mirielle sat in the slytherin common room by the roaring fire, reading her Magicks Most Evil book. She was glad that she wasn't out in the blizzard. She wasn't much for the cold.
Suddenly the Bloody Baron appeared out of nowhere muttering under his breath. Drawing Elle out of her book.
"Baron, what's wrong?" She asked, not out of curiosity but so she could get back to her book.
"Helena, even after death she thinks she's better than me?Where's Peeves?" Elle rolled her eyes. She should've known that it was Ravenclaw. Whenever he was depressed it was always because of Ravenclaw.
"Do you really need peeves? A mind as brilliant as yours can't think of a revenge plan?"
"Ward don't try and sweet talk me but you aren't wrong. I am brilliant and I can get my revenge without Peeves. Peeves annoys me anyhow." The Baron left her his usual chipper? self. Finally I can get back to my book. Thought Elle to herself and then the slytherin common room's giant door creaked open. There goes reading. Elle closed her book and placed it on the end table next to her. She looked towards the big solid door, awaiting to greet the person walking through it.

Mirielle looked at the cards in Kolby's hands. Bloodstained. I wonder what he did this time that he received bloodstained cards.
"Sorry, but as much as I love blood as the next person I don't really think I...no I don't want to play. Your cards are nasty. She awaited his reply. She was sure it was going to be nasty. No one insults Kolby without a little payback and those always came in the form of pranks. So far she was lucky to avoid his pranks but maybe her luck had just ran out.

Isabella, feeling bored, walks into the common room overhearing the conversation between Mirielle and Kolby about his playing cards.She approaches them, "Kolby" in a shouting tone, and as Kolby turns she smiles in a cheeky way and says "I'm not afraid of a little blood as long as you have the moves which I am sceptical of" (admiring her nails).Kolby replies "Alright,we'll see about that".

As they walk towards a table to play on Isabella asks Mirielle if she's sure she doesn't want to play, Isabella just looks down and doesn't bother answering. You make sure to tell me if Kolby says something mean to you next time and I'll have a say about it (glaring at Kolby).

Mirielle scoffed at Isabella.How dare she think that I can't handle myself and how dare she think that I can't handle a little blood. I can handle blood as much as the next person. I just don't like Kolby. She will pay.
"Darling, Bella, may I call you Bella? Good. Mirielle didn't care whether Isabella liked being called that or not."Do not think that I can't handle myself. So you get a warning this time and only this time. You try and protect me again from anyone, especially Kolby, there will be heck to pay on your end, understand? Because I know spells that first year students shouldn't know and they aren't friendly.Mirielle picked up her book, making sure that Isabella received an eyeful of the title, and moved to the fire in the back of the common room so she didn't have to hear the noise so much. As far as she was concerned Isabella only wanted one thing from Kolby and it wasn't to play cards.
